Also, Steam Machine is just a PC. They can’t subsidize the cost of a PC, otherwise anyone who wants a computer at that spec would just buy their box, with Valve eating much of the cost of it.
This isn’t a console scenario where they help you into their walled garden.

This is what is in the SM roughly in an all in one form since it is a custom format . If it costs me $946, it probably cost valve $650-750 due to bulk pricing. You dont know what you are talking about

I am genuinely conflicted with buying the Steam Machine. At $1050, it's quite literally a giant waste of money. I have better PCs laying around my house. I'm only getting it to review it and the only thing that will accomplish is just re-iterating that it's not worth it all.
