At this point religion seems little more than a sexual identity. A young woman converting to ortho or cath and saying it in her bio is no different than her declaring she’s a “demisexual” or “sapiosexual.” It’s more or less an announcement of sexual habits, preconditions, etc.

All of them are so desperate to get people in the door that they are very cautious to truly attack some of these destructive & self-serving tendencies. They have no leverage even if they wanted to. Christianity’s ability to actually enforce prosocial behavior is entirely gone.
