Found a new (to me) VF option select! Vs. Akira 2_6PP - Jean 4P+K+G (Hold G) = Jean does 4P+K+G. - Combo Vs. Akira 2_6P - Jean 4P+K+G (Hold G) = Jean guards (no 4P+K+G) - +6 This is likely useful elsewhere... 🤔

@Tricky_Eileen @GentThief This is the general case! With this in mind you can understand how it works with the blockstun and input buffer and moreover decide which are your best options to choose from for every string you're dealing with.

@Tricky_Eileen @GentThief How this OS works in this very situation and why you in this case you don't need to have guard as your second action in the OS. For this type of OS you input Option1 asap you've blocked a string's move and then input Option2. You get O1 if there's a followup otherwise you get O2

@Tricky_Eileen @GentThief Nope. You got it wrong. Holding G is the second action of the OS. The parry coming out depends only if there's a followup (no delay). In this Akira's case because the followup cannot be delayed it's useless inputting G. The second action should be an offensive one b/c you are +6
