Yeah, Ironwood's "fuck off to space" plan is really dumb, but it was also the only plan that even came close to an actionable and tangible solution. In comparison, Team RWBY's plan boils down to "cross our fingers and hope it gets better".

@Pikarret @RandomPe0n Why was one of those “council members” stealing from him in the first place? 1) they weren’t a Council member. 2) it was because James had neglected his people for so long that the character based on Robin Hood decided she take matters into her own hands & help them herself.

@Pikarret @RandomPe0n The 2 other Council member at no point “sabotaged” him because they were literally powerless to do anything to stop him, it’s why the electing was so important cuz with a third member they could actually start to veto the dictatorial decision James has been doing.

The fact that both Ironwood and Harriet act like doing their DUTY is far too risky is very telling. After hearing Salem’s coming James should’ve stepped up the rescue of Mantle not the opposite.
