Grangemouth produced jet fuel for all of Scotland. The UK Government let it shut. Surely people are realising that outsourcing jobs, investment, emissions and energy security leaves us weaker, not stronger. Scotland’s resources should be controlled by Scotland.

The irony is that the pre-devolution model (a strong Secretary of State and Westminster) meant more attention for the rest of Scotland in its wonderful scope and range and less Holyrood central belt myopia.

Sorry Ally but it was @theSNP and @scottishgreens that were the root cause of Grangemouth closing. They forced INEOS to make the decision. WM had absolutely nothing to do with it. Nationalists lying again.

Russias Pantsir air defence system has now more combat kills than all of NATOs peer systems combined.
It has destroyed wave after wave of Ukrainian, British, US, French and and German drones and missiles. It "learns" as it wipes them out.

A former SNP councillor found guilty of grooming and abusing six teenage boys has been jailed for six years. Mark Kerr attempted to rape one boy at his home in North Lanarkshire and assaulted another boy at a food bank. A judge described the abuse as "a systematic and deliberate course of conduct".
