This is a post I never thought I would have to make, but our beloved communities deserve to know. My brother, @Kon_zetsu, has passed away. He was our whole world and now a giant piece of it is missing. Please check on your loved ones and take depression seriously. You never know what will be your last moment with them. Life can change in a second. The world you know disappears forever. Nothing is guaranteed, not time, not long nights spent together gaming and laughing, not the people you love. So please love louder, appreciate deeper, make your love known, because what feels so normal today could be something you desperately wish for tomorrow.

Jeffrey Epstein was a Democrat donor and Obama supporter. Trump and Epstein had a falling out and never spoke after they got in a feud over a house they both wanted in 2004, well before Epstein’s sex crimes were exposed by his first criminal conviction in 2008. Progressives like to talk about how Trump’s name appears hundreds of times in the Epstein files, but this is because Epstein was an MSNBC-watching boomer lib who was constantly complaining about Trump to anyone who would listen to him whine. There are no communications between Trump and Epstein in any of the emails. A lot of people seem to believe that the Epstein files contain emails between Trump and Epstein, but this is progressive misinformation. The fact that so many people think this is also evidence of the fact that public perception of the Epstein files is mostly based on memes and people don’t have any idea what the Epstein files are, or what they contain.

This Studio Ghibli AI trend is an utter insult to the studio and anime/cinema in general. the real issue is that the AI is clearly trained on copyrighted material without permission in order to recreate like that. this is what the discussion should be about. It's especially disgusting considering Miyazaki is an artist whose profoundly against AI. Kind of reveals that people care far more about aesthetics than the artist...

The United States has the largest prison population on earth. Not per capita. Total. More people in cages than China. More than Russia. More than every "authoritarian" state it condemns in its annual human rights reports. 1.8 million people. Disproportionately Black. Disproportionately poor. Disproportionately from the zip codes with the worst schools, the fewest jobs, the most abandoned infrastructure. This is presented as a "criminal justice system." It functions as a labor system. Prison labor, paid between 13 cents and $1.15 an hour in most states, produces goods for McDonald's, Walmart, Victoria's Secret, Whole Foods, and the United States military. The 13th Amendment, which abolished slavery, contains an exception clause: "Except as punishment for crime." That exception has never been closed. It has been expanded. The plantation did not disappear. It received a different name and a legal foundation.

The Australian government just arrested our most decorated veteran from the Afghanistan War for alleged war crimes. Ben Roberts-Smith was awarded the Victoria Cross for Australia after singlehandedly storming two Taliban machine gun positions by himself in order to save his own SAS team. And this is how we repay him. I spoke to an Australian Afghan war veteran who told me that the Australian government literally paid for billboards in Afghanistan offering to pay random Afghans to come forward with war crime allegations. What country on Earth would do this to itself? Tell me: When does the Taliban plan on holding war crimes tribunals into their own people? When do the Taliban plan on holding themselves accountable for terrorism? Absolutely retarded to purge your own men when fighting a brutal barbaric enemy that respects no rules whatsoever. So let me see if I understand this correctly. Barack Obama negotiated a deal with Iran that lifted sanctions on their country and exchange for international monitoring of their weapons program along with several other concessions. Donald Trump came into office and unilaterally blew up that deal. Now a decade leader in his second term, Donald Trump has without the approval of Congress initiated an unprovoked military attack on Iran, and in order to end said conflict is demanding Iran comply with a number of self serving proposals, many of which were already covered under Obama’s initial deal. Did I leave anything out?

She was quiet for a long time Then she said "I'm staying at my mom's tonight" I said "smart. I can't afford to be sick before tomorrow's session. I've been preparing all week." She hung up I think she's upset about the diagnosis Showed my analyst the test He looked at it Looked at me Looked at it again He said "boss man I don't think that's" I said "COVID. I know. My wife has scheduled a couples therapy session for Friday She said it's "non-negotiable" I said "everything is negotiable" I told her Friday is packed and asked if we could push it She looked at the ceiling Why does she keep doing that Then she handed me a list Printed Single spaced Two pages I said "what is this" She said "everything you've done in the last month that we need to discuss with the therapist" I stopped at line twenty-three Not because I was ashamed Because the formatting was inconsistent Some lines had periods Some didn't I made a note I said "can I bring my analyst" She said "only if I can bring mine" I don't know what that means But her tone suggested I shouldn't ask I brought the list to the office this morning Handed it to my analyst He got two lines in and said the formatting is off I have trained him well He said "I blocked two hours Friday boss man" The session is one He said "you'll need the second for the debrief" Then he asked if I wanted him to take my cargo shorts to the dry cleaners before Friday I said no I have seven identical pairs He said "I know. As an Iranian, I honestly don’t understand some American’s obsession with “no boots on the ground.” I’m asking this sincerely, can someone please explain it to me? From my perspective, I would genuinely feel offended and angry if I were an American soldier or commander. They are not children. They have agency. They know exactly what they’re doing. This kind of rhetoric deeply undermines the courage, sacrifice, and greatness of American soldiers. I understand that some people say this out of genuine concern for the troops. But to me, it reveals a scared, broken, and traumatized mindset, one that is afraid to face the real world and its dangers, and that comforts itself by denying reality. In the actual world outside, dangers and threats are real. The bravest and greatest people consciously choose to go out and protect their values. I hope these people heal from the traumas of the past, and believe in the capability and strength of American soldiers, and to truly honor their sacrifices instead of constantly undermining them with fearful slogans. #ThankYouTrump‌ #IranWar‌
