@igwt097 Depends on the player type - Acuff is 69% assisted 3s, Philon 58%, Mikel 51%, Flemings 61%. There are a lot of great NBA shooters who had mid-to-poor 3P% in college because they had to self create so often on less than great NCAA rosters. Ant, CJ, Trae, KCP, Harden

It’s awful process - would have been fine if they did the swap because they loved Newell / Hugo / Raynaud / etc, then it becomes more about the talent eval rather than asset mgmt

Tony Allen is a median to lower-end outcome for his career, which should not be a hot take in the slightest

@ObitosIsolation @TFllash_ @SwipaCam Look at the teams that made it to the 2nd round this year - Cavs are the only top 10 in 3PR in this season. Dyson will always have to play with 3-4 spacers (which reduces his ceiling), but it can work. I like Naz, but he has a total of TWO 20 point games in his playoff career

@GBreadBall @TFllash_ @SwipaCam Yeah you’re just a guy who doesn’t quite understand the value of spacing in today’s NBA, if you cannot shoot you need to be able be a Clint capela type player. How many guys on OKC can’t hit a three? How many players at the 2 shots 3s at a 20% clip over 76 games this season?

Castle was just in the 8th%ile in FTR pre-draft, BUT he was 58th%ile in unassisted rim FGM/100 in a heavily assisted UConn offense & displayed the requisite physical tools to touch paint can’t lead a horse to the rim but you CAN teach them to grift (cc: Kingston Flemings 👀)

i was skeptical about Castle’s offensive translating to the offs, but his ability to maintain a 40+ FTR while drawing 6.1 fouls per 75 has set his production floor so high for his age TS% predictably falls w/o Wemby (-7.5%) but he remains just productive by getting to the line

@GBreadBall @TFllash_ @SwipaCam You’re worried about net rating. I’m worried about a guy actually being playable due to teams sagging off of a career 30% from 3 shooter. Legit shot 18% this past regular season on 3s. In my honest opinion he is unplayable in the post season.

@TFllash_ @SwipaCam 2nd & 9th in DPOY voting and he isn’t elite? Brunson started that series with 3 inefficient stinkers in first 4 games - Dyson’s offense wasn’t good by any means… but lack of size + JJ/NAW shrinking was way more detrimental than anything Dyson

@ObitosIsolation @TFllash_ @SwipaCam Dyson had the highest (reg season) net rating on a playoff team in his age 22/23 season, is 3.5 younger, is a starter, and has an elite skillset. Reid is really nice in his role, but who is he as a starter on a good team? I have no clue
