@PhilippJoey I don't think you see yourself doing this, but I've seen you work with kids. You're always asking them to explain and meeting them on their level to show mastery.

I don't support retakes. They focus on the task. I do support multiple opportunities to demonstrate proficiency. That focuses on the learning. Don't make kids do the same thing over and over. Nobody wants to do that. Instead, ask this, "How could you show me you know it?"
