@TFroehlig Those that say RBIs are overrated have never had to do it. Driving in runs is a skill.

If I see one more person post that RBIs are an overrated stat, I'm gonna snap. You mean the entire reason the game is even played isn't important? Yes, people need to be on base. But someone still has to drive them in. They don't magically arrive at the plate on a magic carpet.

These people are ridiculous. They have lost all tethers to a sense of self. Their entire identity now relies on this treasonous hate of America. They make up fantasies of how horrible America never was to justify their need to "fight tyranny." They have no identity but this. And they cling to it with a death grip, because they have nothing else. None of it is true. Not the fantasy about America about which she is shrieking, not her identity of believing herself to be some "hero" in a movie about an oppressive government, and not the resulting congress-free, senate-free, President-free, childish (and completely chaotic) future she sees for this country. She is an infant. She and others like her will not get their way. Not even close. If you have a modicum of common sense, it's time to let your line in the sand about tolerance be made known. Myself, I have a limit to tolerance. I have a limit to patience. I know there is a limit to free speech. If your plan is to tear down the United States of America, if your plan is treason, I will not tolerate you, I will have zero patience for you, and I will not defend your right to free speech. @FBI @FBIDirectorKash

I pray for the day I see this sort of thing in public. I won't be standing idly by watching and filming a grown man beat a near child like everyone else. Head injuries are dangerous. 100% ignorant.

A confrontation on the lakefront bike path escalated after a teenager accidentally bumped into a man with his bike. According to witnesses, the teenager apologized, but the man allegedly still went after the teenager and his girlfriend. The incident was caught on video.

According to a recent study by WalletHub, Illinoisans pay the highest taxes and fees in the nation, 53% more in taxes than the U.S. average. Meanwhile, a recent WalletHub study showed Illinois dead last in the nation in economic equity. Minorities, the poor and others who support Pritzkers so called progressive agenda have been taken for granted as Illinois most expensive and expansive government has done little to improve economic conditions and opportunities for its poorest residents. Illinois third ranking among states in the exodus of residents includes a second ranking for Black residents leaving, while Chicago’s lost more Black residents than any major American city since 2000. No coincidence that they’re overwhelmingly middle income families with school age children. Any agenda that continuously raises taxes and fees, whose nation leading property taxes drives residents out of their homes and apartments, consistently expands government dependency, returns violent criminals to the streets and denies quality school choice, is not an equity agenda. Don’t expect Illinois current leaders to reassesses their policies as an increasing percentage of those remaining as well as those arriving, including tens of thousands of international migrants, are government dependent and will continue to vote for the current leadership.

American Nightmare 🇺🇸
Conservative activist William Small just said what millions of Americans have been thinking. “If you’re representing the people of Philadelphia, the only flag that should be raised over City Hall is the American flag.” Maybe it’s time to put everyday Americans first instead of endless political symbolism. 🇺🇸

Elon Musk just said the one thing about America they made sure you’d never learn. The one thing that should’ve made you proud, not ashamed. Musk: “After World War 2, the US could have basically taken over the world and any country. Like we got nukes, nobody else got nukes. We don’t even have to lose soldiers. Which country do you want?” One nation held a weapon no civilization had ever possessed. Total monopoly on destruction. No rival. No consequence. No limit. Every empire in history that held that kind of power did the only thing empires know how to do. They took until there was nothing left to take. America had a greater advantage than all of them combined. And rebuilt the nations it just defeated. Musk: “The United States actually helped rebuild countries. So it helped rebuild Europe, it helped rebuild Japan. This is very unusual behavior, almost unprecedented.” Not almost unprecedented. It had never happened. Not once in 5,000 years of recorded civilization. The nation with the power to take everything chose to rebuild instead. Enemies became allies. Rubble became economies. Surrender became partnership. Germany went from ashes to the economic engine of Europe in a single generation. Japan went from unconditional surrender to the third largest economy on earth. Three years after the war, America was flying food into Berlin. Into the capital of the country that just tried to end the free world. That decision reshaped every economy, every alliance, and every trade route on the planet. Billions of people lifted out of poverty over the next half century trace back to one moment. One nation choosing restraint over domination. No other country in history can make that claim. Not one. Musk: “There’s always like, well America’s done bad things. Well of course America’s done bad things, but one needs to look at the whole track record.” Every nation on earth has blood in its history. But the measure of a nation was never its worst chapter. It’s what it does when nobody can stop it. When nobody could stop America, it fed its enemies and rebuilt their cities. You’re being told every day that this country is something to be ashamed of. By people who have no idea what the world looks like without it. Every free market. Every open border for trade. Every democracy that took root outside Europe stands in the shadow of that single decision. The values that built this country didn’t just shape America. They shaped the modern world. AI is about to hand a small number of people a power advantage that makes nuclear monopoly look primitive. 1945 was the first test. AI is the last. That power is going to exist. The only question left is who holds it. The most powerful thing America ever did wasn’t building the bomb. It was having the power to take everything and choosing not to. The people trying hardest to tear that story down have never built a single thing worth defending.

🇬🇧 THEY TOLD YOU A STORY. 🇬🇧 Colonisers. Slavers. Oppressors. And you were supposed to feel ashamed. Not for what you done... But for WHO YOU ARE. 🇬🇧 So we tested it. Britain wrote everything down, so we opened the books. 📖 Turns out fewer than 1 man in 10 could vote in the year Britain banned the slave trade. No woman could. Your ancestors could hang for stealing a sheep, get shipped across the world for petty theft, or go down a mine at 8 years old. In Manchester, the average age of death in a labouring family was 17. They weren't running the slave trade. They were underneath it too. Which is what makes what happened next worth knowing. In 1772 an enslaved man named James Somerset walked free from an English court, because English law couldn't hold a slave. In 1791, 300,000 families just stopped buying slave sugar. No march, no riot, just a decision made at 300,000 kitchen tables. In 1792, 519 petitions carrying 390,000 names hit Parliament, most signed by people who couldn't vote themselves. In 1807, Britain banned the trade. Then the slave owners sent Britain a bill for the 800,000 people they still held. 💷 £20 million. About 40% of the entire government budget at the time. The Treasury says it wasn't paid off until 2015. So if your family paid British tax before then, they helped buy 800,000 people their freedom. From 1808 the Royal Navy spent 60 years hunting slave ships at sea: 1,600 stopped, 150,000 people freed, and 1,600 British sailors dead, mostly of disease, buried thousands of miles from home. ⚓ In 1816 they ended two centuries of Barbary corsairs enslaving Europeans. In 1896 a war that lasted 38 minutes ended slavery in Zanzibar. 🇹🇿 Almost every country on Earth outlaws slavery today. That fight was paid for largely at British expense, by British hands.🇬🇧 So why haven't you heard any of this? Because within living memory, someone rewrote the story. You got taught the crime. Not the cure. The powerful exploited the world. They exploited their own people first. It was those people who ended slavery. 🇬🇧 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ History got rewritten once, in living memory, by no one who was ever named or held to account. We are ordinary people doing what ordinary people have always done. Opening the books. Refusing to look away. This is how we fight back. Fact by fact. Story by story. Name by name. We are the home of British heroes. There is a place for you in it. If you can afford to support what we do: proudofus.co.uk/support Be part of us. ☝️🇬🇧 Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

HEAR HEAR Jordan! ✌🏼❤️🇺🇸💪🏻
Dr Jordan B Peterson@jordanbpeterson

To the Americans: I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States. And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness: You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence. This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns. Success is equated with exploitation. Ambition is looked upon with contempt. This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom. But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated. This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet. And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America: Thank God for the United States. Thank God for the wisdom of its founders. Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man. Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners. Long may your admirable country dominate the world. Long may your freedom and hope provide an example to those suffering everywhere at the hands of their malevolent states. May your two and a half centuries of unparallelled success be just the beginning. Your country is the light of the world, and the city on the hill. Thank God for the USA. Happy 250th. Dr. Jordan B. Peterson

America is a place, merged with an idea. Americans are those here who agree to this idea. The idea is that anything is possible and that you can live your life the way you want, so long as that way does not impinge on others’ ability to live the way they want. As the current custodians of America, we will keep this idea sacred, so that it is healthy and alive for those who come after us. Just like those of the past 250 years did for us. Happy 4th of July.

People who dismiss the rise of open Communists within the Democrat party don't understand Bolshevik tactics or history Of course, Democrats nationally will say the commies are few. Their whole game is pretending the vanguard is just a fringe. But once in power, who calls the shots? What policies do we get? They put the oldest, most boring white man in Democrat politics- Joe Biden- in office, with dementia, because they could pretend he was non-threatening politically and a "unifier" What did the Biden White House do? Intentionally, systematically throw open our border to 10+ million foreigners, an abject betrayal of this nation we may never recover from Which is *exactly* what Chevalier of the 13th congressional district says she wants to do, again, and more Wake up, everyone. Communism is here. It just hasn't won yet. And they plan to keep lying about it until it's too late.
