@bruceanderson It’s sleazy politics & there’s alot more than 20% would agree. The Liberals did not earn a majority but will have one through manipulation. An unhappy MP should resign & run in byelection or sit as an independent.

To believe an MP has a contract with voters to stay with their party no matter the circumstances, regardless of the positions their party takes, or who the leader is, is to imagine a version of politics that is true --- for perhaps 20% of the population, at most.

@buperac It is not even close to a trade deal with China. It restores canola exports in exchange for allowing Chinese vehicles representing ~ 2.5% of the Cdn market. 15% tariff on canola is still too high but better than 100%. Thought you’d be rejoicing over the restored canola market.

@FoodProfessor Not a strong supporter of supply management. However, I believe the US subsidizes (maybe significantly ) their dairy industry. Would the Cdn dairy industry without supply management be able to compete in an open market ?

Supply management was meant to save the family farm... In 1972, Canada had nearly 130,000 dairy farms. Today, just 9,100 remain. That’s an average loss of 186 farms every month for over 50 years—all while Canadian dairy products remain among the most expensive in the world. Remind why we keep supply management?

@kowalchukfarms1 Excellent advise! 5 years ago I was having chess pains which I ignored since it was during COVID. I eventually saw my doctor who sent me for tests. I had 80% blockage in a main artery & they inserted a stent. I’m very grateful - it could have turned out badly.

At this time last year I was waiting on heart surgery I was about a week into harvest and trying not to get over tired Thankfully harvest started early and we were able to get done 2 days before I went to Calgary for my single by-pass I’m feeling 100% going into harvest this year and I’m very thankful When you’re doing those pre-harvest checks this year remember to look after yourself first everyone! #HaveaSafeHarvest
