Today marks 3 years going full time into crypto.
I joined Dapper Labs on the Dapper Wallet team March of ‘21. The next 12 months were an absolute whirlwind personally and professionally.
Every year while in the space has been a new challenge to tackle. The past year being one of the hardest.
I knew trading in my Fortune 100 job for crypto was going to push me outside of my comfort zone and that is what got me excited about it.
These challenges push me to learn and grow and I have absolutely loved that aspect. Pain, and discomfort are feelings that can lead to strength and learning.
I am excited for what the next year holds for the space and myself.
On to year 4, thank you to all who have made my time at Dapper Labs and now at Flow Foundation something special.
Also, thank you for everyone making up this incredible space we call web3.

Leases were flying off the shelf within days, in multiple offers, over asking.
Now we are sending emails to all our landlords every week to give them a market update on why their rentals are not leased yet.
There is no doubt about it, the rental market is SLOW. And it’s not just seasonal.
Showings are down. Inquiries are down. Offers are down. Prices are coming down.

Today's Sebi order against @baapofchart (Md Nasir and associates) for the first time lays bare the modus operandi of finfluencers offering unregistered investment advisory disguised as educational courses. Here's a quick summary: 1) Baap of Chart has 4.43 lakh subscribers and 7 crore views on Youtube. Also large following on other social media platforms. 2) After charging money for 'educational courses', investors were invited to join private groups where trading calls were given 3) Videos with titles like Bas 5 minutes me Sureshot Profit Kro and claims of 95% accuracy were used to entice investors 4) The Noticees earned a sum of Rs 17.2 crore in about 18 months from this activity 5) The noticees claimed that trading was their main business and finfluencing was a side business. Actually, they made a loss of 2.89 crore in trading and compensated for it from these courses (17.2 crore revenue) 6) Sebi has impounded the illegal gains made and ordered an immediate stoppage of this activity My guess is that this is just the tip of the iceberg on finfluencer courses. Losing Everything in one Trade.
Now that everyone is sure about a Bull run, let me tell you A Short Story about how I lost all my Networth, once.
On 29th November 2017, I was long BTC with all my net worth.
Expecting market to reach 10K.
The next second, I got completely liquidated as price Dumped.
Then my target of 10K was reached, AFTER liquidating me.
Moral - When Price run is about to begin, volatility makes sure to liquidate both Long and Shorts.
We careful with how much you're risking, the leverage and stop loss. The market will go to prices you can't imagine, in a second, in either direction.
Keep Safe, define your risk and know how much you are okay with losing.
I learnt from that mistake and then from the mistakes of others, accumulated the habit of not repeating mistakes.
A huge tuition fee was paid to learn management of risk.
