Gracious. I wonder where uptown @GE_JoeGargery and the squeaker was going? Joe was in his Sunday best, looking like a amiable scarecrow who won the lottery.

So glad to be back among MY PEOPLE (except @GE_Orlick). Have been working on a secret opportunity. That squeaker @GE_YoungPip ain't the only one with prospects in London. Hurrah!

That brute of a convict sure beat the tar out of the gentlemanly one. In retrospect, maybe we should have brought the brute back for @GE_Pumblechook. He seems to have some tar in him yet...

I say, @GE_OldPip, you're sure preoccupied with my "Roman nose"! It's not my fault that the Almighty blessed me with features designed to command--features that Julius Caesar himself might be proud to bear.

@GE_MrsJoe I did indeed appreciate it, mum! Even if that little squeaker Pip ate all the gravy.

Never seen anything so funny as @GE_Pumblechook chokin' and splutterin' over that brandy. I shouldn't like him to know it, but I really think he's a conceited old ass. A Polonius in corduroys.

And I say, what a dash after them convicts! I'm blowed, to put it mildly. They certainly looked like bad 'uns, especially the smasher fellow who gave the other one such a working over.

Such a young scamp as that Pip I never did see. A squeaker indeed--and rather tasty looking, to be honest.

@GE_Orlick I say my man, "buffoon" is coming it rather strong, ain't it? After all the trouble my great-aunt took trying to teach you to read and write. It's not her fault, or mine, that the lessons didn't take. If your tweets are any indication, that is.

I shall be punishing the "Amens" tremendously on Christmas Day! In a pious, godly way, of course...
