No one expects to win every game but conceding 5 TWICE in 5 days is embarrassing and shows the gap between us and the top teams in the division.

So, Gills, what to say right now? A few things. We knew it would take a few seasons to right what was inherited and to get our bearings. Injuries also huge issue. Shan and I (and Joe and Gaz and Dobbo and everyone else) still love and support this team and the fanbase. Stick with us. All we can do is survive the battles until we reinforce the foundation. It hurts. But can you imagine, some day, how it will feel when we finish our work? Another thing, while I wholeheartedly support the Gills and English football, I, along with nine other L1 and L2 owners, are taking a stand on the state of the EFL. It loses £500M per season and nearly all its clubs are within 1 month of being Sheffield Wednesday. No business owner on the planet, myself included, would affiliate with that sort of incompetence. Andrews good impact when he came on again, has to start weekend. Superb run from Gale to win the corner for the equaliser, but why our centre half has to take it upon himself to do it must show what the squad is continuously lacking which is direct running/pace. It needs sorting

(Excluding the lottery of the shootout) Another game unbeaten under Ainsworth, and another without defeat at Fortress Priestfield. The players seem to be buying into Ainsworth’s pragmatic approach. Plenty to be positive about👏🏻
