@twotarou @tanatana5252 I worked with Japanese transplants from Japanese companies and the benefits these guys got was insane. Also you can leave at 5 which shocked them the most, lmao.

Sensationalist grail pulls make for great screenshots But what people should really be looking at is the odds distribution. Not just the price of the pack or the card someone hit once A better question is • what’s the floor? • how bottom-heavy is it? • what are the actual grail odds? It’s not just the prices $2.5k vs $500 but you also have to take into account the odds distribution @Courtyard_io Legend Pack: • 39% for $1.4k - $1.9k • 31% for $1.9k - $2.5k • 24% for $2.5k - $5k • 5% for $5k - $10k • 0.6% for $10k - $40k @Beezie Platinum TCG: • 75.08% for $250 - $500 • 21.09% for $501 - $1.5k • 3.35% for $1.5k – $5k • 0.32% for $5k - $10k • 0.16% for $10k+ TLDR: • Courtyard has a much higher floor. Most outcomes are around the $1.4k to $5k pricing • Beezie is much more bottom-heavy. About 75% of outcomes are only $250 - $500 (using $500 spend) • Courtyard seems to have the better chance at a true grail hit: 0.6% for $10k - $40k v.s Beezie’s 0.16% for $10k+ • So Beezie is cheaper to enter. But Courtyard has a much higher floor and higher grail odds too Not saying one protocol is better than the other, merely inviting discussion to focus on the actual mechanisms here. More people need to learn how to read odds. Otherwise they’ll keep reacting to headlines instead of understanding the product.

Courtyard is bragging that someone pulled a Charizard Poncho Pikachu from their $2,500 “legend pack”, claiming it’s worth almost 20k USD. Earlier today, the exact same card was pulled on Beezie from a $500 claw, and they’re pricing it much more realistically. $2,500 vs $500 cost. One is built to exploit uninformed users. The other is built to serve passionate collectors. Choose your onchain TCG platform wisely.

@StonkHands Realistically the true price of cards should be about 15% lower than other marketplaces due to significantly lower fees, no shipping, etc. I don't think it's unreasonable for cards on chain to sell for less. The marketplaces need way more tooling and users though

So far all the crypto RWA Pokemon / TCG Gachas are still missing liquidity for marketplaces. For the most part you feel forced to sell the card back or redeem it if you want to keep or sell on eBay or other markets. Unless you list way under market value its kinda rare to get any sales even with low to no marketplace fees. What could be done to change that? Buying Incentives? Earn points buying cards to eventually get free pulls?

@Poke_Bondo Why? The platforms are better for sellers: no physical inventory to maintain, instant settlement, and all the platforms are significantly lower in fees. The only problem I see, atm, is a lack of users and you do have a trust a 3rd party. No unlike any vaults.

Set up my ClawdBot to arbitrage trade between crypto Pokemon card platforms & traditional ones. - crypto platforms are about 15-20% cheaper than market - scrape listings + average sales on traditional platforms - take listings from crypto sites that are mispriced and post the lowest market price on traditional sites - if it sells, automatically buy it from the crypto site & ship it directly to the buyer 20% profit margins. 0 stored inventory. Insane demand.

Pokémon cards just went institutional. @MemeStrategy (HKEX:2440) launched what they’re calling the world’s first tokenized Pokémon trading card fund (for professional investors) via EVIDENT. Flagship holding: PSA 10 “Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat” • Estimated market cap: $94m • PSA10 pop: ~47,000 (capped) • Price: +400% since late 2023 • Goal: exposure to ~25% of available PSA10 supply Culture → capital is happening in real-time

@BullNakedCrypto @LoganPaul What will collapse the pokemon (modern) market will be when TPCI expands their printing facility in 2027. They can't even meet the current demand.

Hot Take: Pokemon market will collapse because of @LoganPaul and the sale of the "fake" #PSA10 Pikachu, because its clearly not a 10 An investigation will be done into PSA, which will turn out there is hella shady shit going on, collapsing the networth of any PSA Slab and the market it self

Fun fact: nobody thought Pokemon were Satanic or immoral.
🖤 Buy Physical Media 🖤@VHSDVDBLURAY4K

In 2000 #Pokemon was deemed Satanic and immoral but Pope John Paul II blessed the franchise Saying… the games / cards did not have "any harmful moral side effects" and were based on "ties of intense friendship and full of creative imagination”

I’d like to hear one legitimate reason why someone would still grade with PSA especially for their personal collection with no intention of flipping. I’m not just preaching for TAG in this case. There’s CGC, BGS, ACE, etc, other options, why still choose PSA when they seem to continue to screw their customers?

@DaylightsTV If you're trying to buy/sell or even just hold, as long as third party is reputable it is a superior experience. No one wants to eat eBay's 12% fee, put up with shipping, dealing with a seller who has decided not to send it to you because the price went up etc.

@phygitals can you guys double check wherever you are pulling prices from? There is no way the Charizard below is worth 69k. It's worth roughly 2k. The card is in terrible condition and even recent auctions are at like 2-2.5k. it's probably pulling for a shadowless 10 Charizard?

@nonplayablecin The 1st goes over financial bubbles, it reads as almost a comedy. The 2nd discusses debt and it's history and what, really, is debt from all view points. The 3rd is a fantasy series and it's kino. It follows a torturer and his journey. Can't say too much more without spoilers.
