2026 is the year you find it how much your insurance agent understands ARC and PLC.
It’s a unique year where we can make really educated decisions on the best programs.
Choosing the wrong program could be a difference of $100/acre on Corn base.

This has morbidly fascinated me about all this. I feel certain that I make more in a month than most of the people screeching at me make all year, and yet I am acutely aware that if my wife and I ate out daily, it would impact our financial goals. How can *they* not see it?

The way the internet has responded to this is so wild to me Turns out there’s a whole generation that doesn’t believe they can ever succeed in life so they just YOLO their money on stupid shit like DoorDash Meanwhile I’m making 10x what they are and I’m making lunch and meals and NOT doing DoorDash Sacrifice is literally how I saved $200K to be able to get a home It took me over a decade to do that Entitlement and lack of delayed gratification is destroying a whole generation How did we get here?

The best part of people who bitch about the clocks changing, is if they ever get it changed they will be the first to bitch about it being dark at 8:30 am in the winter.
If people need something to be mad about the clock is probably the least consequential

ARC-CO payments are about to trigger for a lot of row crop operations. Most farmers set it and forgot it years ago. The numbers look very different at $4 corn than they did at $6. Worth 10 minutes with your FSA office this week. (More in my free weekly newsletter — link in reply)
