It was accurate as a snapshot in late 2022 to mid-2023, but the situation has changed significantly since then due to ongoing Russian advances (slow and costly) and limited Ukrainian counteroffensives. 54% was true in 2023 ,it's outdated now.

What Republicans are actually saying is that if the Senate fails to pass the SAVE Act, a 85/15 issue, the House will be lost to the Democrats and there is a slight risk that we could lose the Senate. Republican voters have the House, Senate, and presidency to the GOP and one of our biggest issues is election integrity. If Republicans in the Senate refuse to do the work to pass an issue that is supported by the vast majority of Americans from both parties many Republican voters are simply going to stay home.

Republicans were able to win in 2024 without the SAVE Act. So why wouldn’t they be able to win in 2025 without the SAVE Act? Oh yeah. Because this administration sucks and the SAVE Act is a voter suppression Hail Mary to save them from consequences. They’re literally admitting it’s voter suppression in their talking points.

SAVE ACT: Rumor has it Leader Thune has a deal that allows Senators to go on their 14-day paid vacation. It would restore funding for the TSA in exchange for stripping out ICE enforcement funding from the DHS bill. The deal kills the Save America Act and gives states money if they implement voter ID but removes any requirement to check that voters are citizens. The good news is that their vacation has been saved.
