@oldenoughtosay @GeorginaWilcox oohhh it’s mouse droppings! I thought they were maggots, from what looks like specular highlights 😅🙈

@vickybarlo Of course I don't want conflict or stress - but there is no peace without justice. I have less patience with every passing year. Yes, I want the peaceful scene, but we have to get there together.

To be honest, the older I get the more angry I get at inequality, injustice and general selfishness.

@surliertexan @LisaWeihman For the first time in my life, joining DAR sounds like a potentially fun option...
English

@oldenoughtosay @ergojessica Nice to figure those things out without hives or wheezing and when your life isn't immediately on the line!
English

@ATX_JS @oldenoughtosay Yikes! Did not know about the aorta. Cipro left me with tendon pain for months - didn't realize at the time how lucky I was that that was the extent of it.
English

@oldenoughtosay I believe you’ve mentioned hyper-mobility before….its worth mentioning to you and your following that fluoroquinolone antibiotics including cipro, levoquin, are associated with connective tissue damage, including increased rare but serious risk of rupture/tear of your aorta 1/
English

@oldenoughtosay @ergojessica What do you mean by a "full antibiotic review"? I play whack-a-mole with antibiotic allergies and a structured approach would be helpful. It's this something one can request? 🤔
English

@the_museumfolk It's almost as if the processes were developed for a reason...
English

@oldenoughtosay @REPHVIM @BolaPalm @bookishclaire Seriously. We're all one medical event away from bankruptcy.
English

@BolaPalm @oldenoughtosay @bookishclaire Or have a family they're covering on their plan? I wish that was a BS number, but it's really not.
English

@grumpyesq @rumorahasit That's already a problem in this sector, please don't even joke about it. We're all already crispy.
English

@rumorahasit If I offer to work for half as much will they let me steal your job?
English

@HorsfieldPenny @the_museumfolk There are too many options...
English

@the_museumfolk Does it matter what you're livid about?
English

@AnnCastleWalton @oldenoughtosay Look like? In many cases you can't even tell there was a road there a week ago.
English

@oldenoughtosay This took my breath away when I saw it. Can’t imagine what the back roads must be like. They’re literally using mule trains to get supplies into some place because they are inaccessible.

@youneedaclue @Momsplaining101 People are washed out without being anywhere near a dam. 30" of rain will do that.
English

@Momsplaining101 If you guys are looking to blame anyone, about the rains, and flooding, start with The Army Corp of Engineers. They Built but did not maintain any of the dams that failed.
They should have showed up with pumps, not wearing them.

People who keep saying that Appalachia should’ve been prepared for this really know nothing about the area or weather. This wasn’t a “once in a lifetime” thing. This was a “this has never happened since Noah” kind of thing. It’s one thing to live below sea level and have this happen, it’s a whole other to literally live in the mountains and have your home wash away or have water covering your house. People had less than a days warning of how bad it might be and nothing said it would be this bad. On the coast people know a week ahead what will likely happen because it happens all the time. It’s not the same.

@dowis_mark @JudgeBobOrr Seeing confirmation again today, bridge is gone but Celo folks all accounted for. More information is coming through on FB.
English

@GLAMDataCarol @JudgeBobOrr Thanks for the update. I am sure they are ok just cut off. But they are very self sufficient and hardy…. Bridge out, Toe Up. Business as usual. 😆
English

@dowis_mark @JudgeBobOrr Last I saw on Facebook (yesterday), it sounded like people were OK, just cut off because the bridge and road had washed out. They said the cottage is gone but the inn might be ok? Waiting for more info as people are able to reconnect and hoping everyone is indeed safe.
English

@JudgeBobOrr Any word from Celo? I know that the Toe flooded? We are not able to get in contact.
