No ETA, but to illustrate progression - restoration efforts continued through yesterday evening for the 2,600 members without power. At this moment, less than 1,300 members are without power. GLE crews and contractors are working diligently to get that number back down to zero.

No estimates at this time. There are currently more than 11,000 members reporting power outages. Crews are dispatched and working diligently to address the issue. Thank you for your patience!

@TauPower @Elipsco29 @Elipsco29, it will cool the air in the room where the HPWH is located. In many cases, that's a basement, so limited advantage there. But it also dehumidifies.

@Elipsco29 @GLECooperative Could be, but we don't have ducting (we only have a hot water boiler for heat).

Just pulled another #LaudatoSi move and had the plumbers install a heat pump water heater. 3x as efficient as our old plain electric one. Of course, it helps that @GLECooperative gave us $1200 in rebates to do it.

@GLECooperative how about not spraying poison all around where my grandchildren play. When I asked what they were spraying, it’s some poison to kill saplings? Not! It killed EVERYTHING and we are next!

@alicia66630444 @alicia66630444, herbicide spraying is part of GLE's efforts to provide safe, reliable electric service through controlling growth in rights-of-way. GLE only uses forestry herbicides deemed safe, effective and environmentally sound. GLE does not use glyphosate, FYI.
