As a confessional Lutheran, I would not attend that so‑called Protestant service if I was at the Pentagon. Hard no. It is unionism, which mixes church bodies in worship or doctrine without true agreement. And once you add dispensational evangelicals into the mix, you are dealing with a different religion altogether. Secondly, one is not a Protestant unless one stands within the magisterial Reformation. If you are not part of that stream, then you are not Protestant; you are simply another sect that claims the Reformation’s credibility while rejecting much of its theology. I can only imagine what that worship service was like—pure evangelical cringe. No liturgy, no reverence, just pietism.

This is silly for two reasons. 1) there is no mass on Good Friday. 2) Demanding inclusion and special catholic services is the same as what the left does. “If celebrate Christmas, we must also celebrate hanukah and kwanza!” Stop. Please. America is Protestant. It makes sense that there’s a Protestant service. This isn’t scandalous.

There are Christian values - following Christ. And there are Jewish values - rejecting Christ. There are no Judeo-Christian values. Before you pretend Judeo-Christian means Old and New Testament, we have a word for that already: The Bible.

@themagaking You need the Church because Christ created and authorized it, and promised it would stand forever. Rejection of the Church is rejection of Christ’s authority and ultimately rejection of Christ.

If the Pope won’t even stand to defend God and is willing to bend the knee to Islam, why would anyone be part of the Catholic Church? You don’t need a corrupt institution to believe in God. Your faith belongs to you. Be a good Christian, live right, and answer to Him yourself.

You cannot remove all of the highly enriched uranium, nuclear grade, in Iran without going into the tunnels and facilities deep underground to get it.  I don't know what the administration's plan is, but I am guessing this is at least one reason why there are public reports that some of the special forces are being called up and deployed.  For Nancy Mace to say no ground troops or I won't support the war effort is, to me, utterly irresponsible.  The administration is not talking about amassing troops for some big ground campaign, according to public reports.  Mace is now running for governor of South Carolina.  I have never been a fan for several reasons.  I trust the president to make prudential decisions in the military campaign, as he already has.  His use of the military in Iran and Venezuela has been brilliant and precise.

I know what my grandfather would say about what Kent wrote in his letter. He was a Marine. He fought on Iwo Jima.  He was Jewish. He’d be furious. I know for a fact Kent leaked to Tucker Carlson a meeting the President had with me, at the President’s request, which Carlson in turn used on the internet.  No President should be treated like that.   Apparently, there were more. Not good. And the appalling antisemitism in Kent’s public letter deserves judgment, which is why so many of all faiths are condemning it.
