A despicable waiting game. How long can New Hampshire continue to abuse Harmony Montgomery by forcing her to wait for justice? Exactly seven months since oral arguments and no decision on Adam Montgomery's murder conviction appeal. NH made her wait for: 2 years before they even figured out she was missing. 9 months before they charged him with murder. 16 months to bring it to trial 18 months from arrest to sentencing. 5 months to hear oral arguments. 4 months for DCYF or someone, ANYONE, to rescue her after 18 reports of abuse were filed between July and October 2019. 7 weeks after NH DCYF closed the case finding there was no abuse until he killed her 7 years since Harmony was brutally murdered. The truth is that NH wants to put Harmony in the metaphoric rearview mirror…unlike the real one Adam Montgomery used to see her wet her pants before he beat her to death. In New Hampshire, Harmony was simply expendable.

@KYMaverick1 Yup, they absolutely mean business. They can also deny transplant surgery if you do not have recommended vaccinations.

Think Vanderbilt isn’t serious about their strict no-smoking and no-drinking rules for lung transplants? They have a zero tolerance for alcohol or smoking, even second hand smoke. Here are two of my early tests that prove they mean business: 🔹 Nicotine Screen (Urine)Simple urine test that detects nicotine and cotinine — catches any smoking, vaping, patches, or nicotine use from the recent past. 🔹 Phosphatidylethanol (PEth), Whole Blood – ARUPHighly accurate blood test that measures a direct alcohol biomarker. It can detect even moderate drinking for up to 2–4 weeks after your last drink. They don’t play around! 💪 @SpookySokoke @SueRI0927

@KYMaverick1 It really should be, but the sheer number of people that just use it for attention and views is disgusting, and not for justice for the victim and their family at all.

Does the True Crime Community need a shared creed? Perhaps the time has come to create one together. Let me propose a place to begin. ________ True Crime Community Creed • Awe of the truth is our foundation. • Compassion for the victims is our greatest strength. • Restorative and equitable justice is our primary goal. • Humble recognition that we may be wrong is our constant safeguard. ________ This creed means that in every case, every cold file, and every conversation we will: revere the truth with awe, stand fiercely for the victims with compassion, pursue restorative and equitable justice — repairing harm, honoring victims, holding the responsible accountable, and fostering healing — and always remain open to new evidence, sharper questions, and the possibility that our understanding is incomplete. Should this not be our code in every case?

Good morning. I have wonderful news. I will be permitted to walk at my law school graduation this week (although my actual degree won't arrive until I finish paying my tuition bill). I am so grateful: A dream come true (and a promise to my late father fulfilled, at last).

You can’t spend all day accusing everyone else of being racist, then turn around and use racial insults yourself when someone disagrees with you. This person did not call her any racist names, yet her response was to call a white person a “cracker.” That kind of hypocrisy completely undermines the point she claims to be making. Racism doesn’t suddenly become acceptable because you think your side is justified. If you want people to take accusations of racism seriously, the standard has to apply equally to everyone.
