With the World Cup in South Africa not too far away, the bigger focus has to be building a team that can compete in the all important tournament & in those conditions . For the last few years we’ve done well in bilateral cricket, yet have been exposed when it matters the most on the global stage. Hopefully from here onwards, every decision is made with the World Cup in mind 🇵🇰

Happy for Arfat,Ghazi Ghauri and Babar for their performance but this type of spin track could not help us in WC and these bilateral also won't give any advantage anymore. This win will only help those whose positions are in danger

پاکستان کرکٹ کو جتنا تبلیغیوں نے تباہ کیا ہے اتنا محسن نقوی اینڈ کو نے بھی نہیں کیا، سب سے بڑا مسئلہ یہ ہوتا ہے کہ زیادہ پلیئر کبھی اسکول تک نہیں گئے ہوتے ان کو ملاؤں کے حوالے کرنا ملک، کھیل اور معاشرے کی تباہی ہے، ان بچوں کو مولویوں سے محفوظ رکھنا بھی کرکٹ بورڈ کی ذمہ داری ہے!!

I hope PCB will prepare pitches according to SA condition where WC will feature so that our players prepare themselves according to that condition. It doesn't matter if we lose but the main focus should be the WC and it's best combination. Make bounce pitches

Within that year, we went from a 23% win ratio to 73%, which was obviously a 50% improvement. We’ve still got work to do. We had been pretty disappointing in T20 cricket during that period. In the 12 months before that, we lost to Ireland, USA & Zimbabwe. We won a lot of series & in the World Cup, Harry Brook’s innings probably took us away from a semi-final spot. But we were only four or five runs away from making the semi-finals. So, it shows good signs of progress, although we’re disappointed that we didn’t progress further."

To strengthen our red ball cricket, we need to offer lucrative red ball contracts to specialist players.
It's the best incentive to keep them committed to the longer format as this way they will commit to play minimum of 5 First Class matches per season and players will not make the mistake of forcing themselves into changing their natural game or chase franchise cricket.
At the International level, half-cooked skills don't survive. We need fully committed players who are equipped for the challenge.
