@Nerdcognito Sad part is that there are games that I have loved for years that I am now vocally wanting to fall apart. When Pathfinder became 2e and started down that path, I was waiting for Paizo to go. D&D needs the same thing. Same thing for Call of Cthulhu and World of Darkness.

@TheRPGDummy I only stream movies / tv shows, I don’t purchase them. I like visual media, but not one enough to need to own it.
Second I only purchase books on kindle that I physically can’t get. There are a lot of Warhammer books that are no longer in print. I do own a library room.

What I hate is how the Overton Window got moved so much that a lot of old school players thought that a D&D movie being "funny" was a virtue.
It's one thing to have a few throwaway lines that are humorous, like Malek in Conan: The Destroyer. But when they go to the trouble to do visual gags in addition to the quippy, Joss Whedonesque dialog...sorry.
Not interested in that slop for the masses. The movie didn't really take itself seriously, so why should I?
