As someone stuck outside looking in: That's my biggest hope — that something like this bill actually gets introduced in Congress and gives skilled people a real path forward. With my qualifications, I'd have a much better shot under a system like that. I'd renounce my German citizenship in a heartbeat if it meant moving to the US in 2029. My German passport feels like nothing more than a worthless piece of paper to me now. I'd much rather hold a citizenship I can actually be proud of. Deep down, I feel like I belong in America, not Germany. I've wanted to become American for years. That's why I keep chiming in on this stuff. If anyone wonders why I always give my two cents — that's the reason. One day… 🇺🇸
