Keep reading health experts (who are far removed from clinical work) say we need to keep people out of hospital. Everybody needs hospital eventually. We have just delayed it by 10/15 yrs due to new meds etc.

Refer to memory services in the west! 1-2 yr waiting list. I thought yesterday that a good proportion of these people will probably die before diagnosis. Try arranging a care package without a diagnosis. New cutting edge treatments. We can’t get people diagnosed!!!

So happy today that we will 🤞 see a return to government in NI, and an end to the ongoing stagnation in service delivery. Political leadership can’t be easy and credit to the leaders.
