As the Artemis II astronauts prepare for today's lunar flyby, they each take a moment to reflect on the legacy of the Apollo 8 mission. Onboard with them is an Apollo 8 patch that flew aboard the lunar-orbiting mission over fifty years ago.

@werth247 Thanks for watching this historic moment! The spacecraft will pass within about 4,070 miles of the lunar surface during its closest approach and will travel as far as 252,760 miles from Earth — giving the crew a perspective no human has experienced in more than 50 years.

@elonmusk My CT came with swirl marks all over it that I didn’t notice until it was too late for Tesla to fix under the 100 mile cosmetic defect rule. Looks like 💩.

@elonmusk I have difficulties trying to buy a Roadster 2. I reserved one back in Feb 2020, paid 332,000 rmb (~47,000 usd), and five years later there is no ETA to see the car.
