I just watched the first two scenes of #Avengers: Endgame. While all those movies have lost a lot of their impact after so many viewings over so many years, their quality gives me hope that #Doomsday and #SecretWars will be stupendous. #MCU #RussoBrothers

You're looking at one of the rarest things ever photographed from space. A red sprite — a 50-mile-tall electrical discharge that fires upward out of a thunderstorm into the edge of space. It exists for milliseconds. Nitrogen molecules in the mesosphere glow pink for a fraction of a heartbeat, then it's gone. NASA astronaut Nichole Ayers caught this one from the ISS, over Mexico and the US. Lightning we know. This is something else.

Phil Collins is a complete rarity in a UK context; he’s the Prog bloke, that people at The Pub could relate to. He laid the groundwork to utterly capture Pop, whilst maintaining an absolute sense of authenticity. Even if you don’t dig it - you never think he doesn’t mean it.

Saw an #IceCream truck in my neighborhood. Haven't seen that since I moved from Olney in 1989. I've lived in the suburbs of MD, NY, NoVA, and DE since then, as well as Chicago (FWIW). At least 37 years (if not one or two more)? It's been a while.
