Belarus is preparing for war with Ukraine, - Zelensky According to intelligence data, roads to the territory of Ukraine are being built and artillery positions are being set up. I have instructed the relevant channels to warn the actual leadership of Belarus about Ukraine's readiness to defend its land and independence.

Everyone is misunderstanding this paper+tweet. THIS PAPER DOES NOT SHOW THAT EMF RADIATION IN YOUR ENVIRONMENT IS CHANGING YOUR GENES WIRELESSLY this paper designs and implements a new ARTIFICIAL GENE SWITCH that is controllable by EMF. This is a very impressive technology!! It will hopefully be a useful tool for biology research. But! You have to do some sort of gene therapy to an organism so that the expression of a gene in that organism can be controlled with EMF radiation. Additionally, the EMF radiation used is 1,000–100,000× stronger than ambient EMF radiation. I WANT TO BE CLEAR: It does not show you can precisely control gene expression using EMF WITHOUT any modifications to an organism. "no drugs" in the original tweet is misleading. I guess technically gene therapy isn't a drug but it's still a significant intervention. Now the mechanism identified is interesting. It does rely on this endogenous protein Cyb5b that triggers a transcription factor Sp7. Now idk if this is a pathway that could ever occur naturally, this is not studied in the paper AFAICT. However Sp7 seems to be relevant in bone formation/growth/healing. So here's my speculation (which could be totally wrong which is likely!): maybe, just maybe, with very high EMF radiation you could induce bone growth/healing without modification to an organism. But biology is complex and there's probably some reason this would never work lol
Zane Koch@zanehkoch

ok actually insane paper published yesterday a research group in Korea built a gene switch you can control wirelessly using electromagnetic fields they exposed mice to 60 hz EMF (same frequency as your wall outlet) using a pair of large coils that generate a uniform magnetic field around the animal, for cyclic 3-day on / 4-day off pulses they showed this could: - activate OSK to do epigenetic reprogramming in progeroid and aged mice, extending lifespan and reversing aging markers across multiple tissues - conditionally switch on mutant amyloid genes only in aged mouse brains, letting them separate aging effects from amyloid effects to study AD biology in a way previous models couldn't no drugs, no impacts, just a magnetic field from outside the body

The Russian army has reached a dead end in Ukraine, the Russian economy is weakened, and the chances of victory are almost zero. That is why the Kremlin may resort to a new escalation. It is about attacking one of the Baltic states in order to test whether NATO is really ready to defend its allies. If Europe fails to arm itself in time and the West shows weakness, Putin may decide that there will be no better moment, summarizes The Washington Post.

‼️🇷🇺BREAKING |“Vladimir Putin may decide to attack Europe this spring — the Russian leader reportedly believes his ‘window of opportunity’ is closing, making immediate action necessary. Accordingly, an assault on Europe could take place in the near future,” writes The Washington Post. 📌 The outlet notes that, for Putin, the ideal moment to initiate a war against Europe would be before: European countries complete their rearmament; Ukraine develops new weapons (likely referring to ballistic missiles) capable of striking deeper into Russian territory; Donald Trump, who is described as being hostile toward NATO, remains in the White House. Scientists reversed brain aging using a simple nasal spray. Brain aging breakthrough In a new study texas A&M University, researchers used a two dose nasal spray to deliver microRNA-loaded extracellular vesicles directly into the brain. This treatment reduces neuroinflammation by targeting key pathways like NLRP3 and cGAS–STING, while restoring mitochondrial function and rebalancing brain immune cells. In aging mice, this led to improved memory and cognitive function within weeks, with effects lasting for months after just two doses 👀 This new study suggests brain aging may be reversible by targeting inflammation at the molecular level.

Fred The White@fred_theW

Your tattoo ink doesn't stay in your skin. It breaks apart and travels through your body to your lymph nodes, where it settles for life. And in the US, nobody has ever tested what's actually in it. Lund University in Sweden studied 5,695 people for this one. They controlled for sun exposure, tanning beds, skin type, smoking, income. After stripping out all those variables, people with tattoos still had a 29% higher risk of melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer. Mixed black and colored ink pushed that number to 38%. People who'd had their tattoos for 10 to 15 years had 67% higher risk. Only 30% of the melanomas showed up where the tattoo actually was. The other 70% appeared on completely different parts of the body. The ink is traveling through the body, doing damage far from where it was injected. Your immune system is the reason. It treats tattoo ink like an invader. White blood cells swallow the particles and try to drag them to your lymph nodes (small filters spread throughout your body that help fight infections). But the particles never leave. They just sit there. A research team in France used X-ray imaging on donated human bodies and confirmed tattoo pigments stay lodged in the lymph nodes permanently. A separate 2025 study then found this causes inflammation in the lymph nodes for months, and it actually weakened the body's response to COVID vaccines. Black tattoo ink is loaded with the same compounds found in coal tar and cigarette smoke. The World Health Organization classifies these as cancer-causing. Colored inks use pigments that break down into different cancer-causing compounds when they get hit by sunlight or during laser tattoo removal. Arsenic, cadmium, lead, and chromium show up across almost every ink color. The EU saw the data and in January 2022 restricted over 4,000 chemicals in tattoo ink across all 27 member states. The FDA has the authority to do the same thing. They have never used it. No tattoo ink sold in America has ever been FDA-approved for injection into human skin. The only guidance the agency has issued was in 2024, and it covered bacteria in ink bottles, not the cancer-causing chemicals in the ink itself. 82 million Americans have at least one tattoo, roughly 1 in 3 adults. Every one of them has permanent, untested chemical deposits sitting in their lymph nodes right now. The EU already decided those chemicals were too dangerous to leave on the market.

A recent study found that people with tattoos face a roughly 29% higher risk of getting skin cancer.
