Congratulations to Evan Mooney on completing his permanent move to Arsenal. ✍️ Evan joined St Mirren at just 12 years old and rose through the academy to make his first‑team league debut at 16 years, 10 months and 8 days against Hearts on 19 October 2024. A couple of months later, at 17 years and 3 days, he scored his first senior goal ⚽ in a 3–2 win over St Johnstone on 14 December 2024. Exactly one year on, at 18 years and 3 days, he came off the bench in the 81st minute to help secure the Scottish League Cup at Hampden Park 🏆 in a 3–1 victory against Celtic. Everyone at GSW sends their best wishes to Evan and his family as he begins this exciting new chapter in London. We’re proud to support him on the journey ahead. #GSWFootball

✍️ A huge well‑done to Tayo Singerr, who has signed his first professional contract with Portsmouth FC. After an outstanding campaign last season - where he was crowned Academy Player of the Season for 24/25 as a first‑year scholar - Tayo has continued to impress. This season he has embraced the challenge of men’s football as a second‑year scholar. Still just 17 at the time, he marked his senior debut in style, coming off the bench to score in the EFL League Cup against Reading back in August. He thrived during a loan spell at Moneyfields, where he netted 17 goals Upon returning to Pompey, he made his Championship debut on New Year’s Day at Bristol City, another major milestone in his rapid rise. This new contract represents the next chapter in Tayo’s journey, and everyone is incredibly proud of him and excited to see what the future holds. #GSWFootball
