@JustineBateman I agree (sort of). This goes back to Aristotle…time is simply a measure of motion. It does not exist. What exists is things in motion relative to other things.

Youth baseball/softball tournaments are a study in cultural anthropology. Families all day dutifully lugging around Academy carts, bored and miserable, sacrificing what could be true family leisure for the mythology of ambition, and paying for the privilege. It’s quite something.

I never understood the purpose of this doctrine. Obviously Mary was a virgin when she had Jesus, but why must she remain perpetually so? Especially when the Bible talks about Jesus’s brothers. She was married to Joseph and sex within marriage is good, not sinful.
