3) Birth rates are falling all over. More and more countries are trying to get immigrants. Korea is opening. Japan is opening. Even China is getting a steady trickle of migrants. As fertility falls, more and more countries will attempt to offset with immigrants-- and thus be competing over the same shrinking pie, because with falling birth rates the pool of potential immigrants will shrink. There's debate about when we will hit peak human birth cohorts. The UN says the 2040s, but some people argue it could be by 2030. I'm not sure myself, but the point is soon.
