To address the "XBOX would be confusing" people. When I buy a Nissan Micra, I know I'm getting the latest model, not a 2003 version. Why can't XBOX just be XBOX? For one generational reset they can do it.

State of play is about to drop, and Sony are not only going to show a new GTA6 trailer, but also show something PS6 related, to cause maximum buzz. Maybe not gta6 on ps6, but also maybe a “plays best” tag.
That’s my theory anyway.

I’ve been saying this for ages. It’s the only logical step IMO.
People are so used to just buying the latest most up to date product. We aren’t all grandparents buying a Wii U.

Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight is one of the best looking games I’ve seen. And this is in @xbox performance mode too.

@KAIJU_PROJEKT I don't fully agree, personally. The xbox one was... ok. It wasn't as awful as people claim. BUT... The messaging was dreadful from the get go and their focus was totally wrong. Plus they made a couple of technological decisions that put them behind.

Xbox has been losing since Xbox One. The problem with them going back to exclusives is they were exclusives on Xbox One and it was their worst generation of consoles since the Xbox series. I want Xbox to go back to exclusives. No PC, just Xbox, but I don't know if they ever will. I want there to be a reason for me to buy an Xbox again.

That there is the big issue for me. Yes, FSR is… not the best. It’s nowhere near as good as DLSS. But it can still help a lot. PSSR isn’t great either, but helps.
But when games release as some how devs just… forget… to add it? That’s more what I’m concerned about.

All this FSR 4.1 talk is lovely for Xbox because it can genuinely help a LOT. Games with poor, low resolutions can shine when a decent upscale is used (see: Switch 2 titles)
However…
Let’s not forget that devs are usually forced into parity, or just won’t bother.

I really hope we see some more IPs come in the. Lego Bond would have been amazing but wasn’t went ahead with, but I’m really hoping for a Lego Star Trek. Massive universe and a lot of potential!
