They just signed Chet & Jalen to thrifty 5 yr rookie max extensions (~$47M/yr). Presti has until 2031 before they’re both UFAs & will be very expensive

Definitely has seemed that way, but you make your own luck & they've taken advantage of teams misvaluing talent + betting on teams downfalls down the line. Very calculated & intentional process from Presti & company — while developing in-house talent. Class of the league man.

Dillon Brooks give him credit. Any team he goes to there's a certain mentality that team gonna play with. You saw it all year. I don't think they're in the play in if those guys don't miss as many games as they missed. Jalen's changed that team since coming back. Give those guys a lot of credit man regardless of what happens in the 1st round of this playoffs for them I think it's a very successful season"

@AzBobbyl @StephenPG3 Yep develop homegrown talent then as soon as a contract gets a lil too pricey trade them for picks. I was surprised by the McCain acquisition. But he got a high level player for cheap. They are running into the enviable issue of having too many picks. Can’t dev them all

@GTU052012 @StephenPG3 I kept thinking "when is Sam going to push the draft picks for players" but he did the opposite, would take on a contract for a pick, just getting picks. Even a guy like Topic is just getting healthy. Sorber like you mention. He will trade Hartenstein, LoDort - keep it going

Props to Coach Ott for actually taking advice & opening up the rotation to 10. 👏🏽 Even giving Khaman some good switch up mins. We aren’t top heavy. Like last yr’s Pacers were a deep team who’s advantage is the ability to put in wave after wave of high energy/effort players
