My pancake breakfast was just shy of 50 grams of protein (zero from any sort of protein powder), yes fruit heavy but a treat for today (topping is just blended mango - maybe 2 tbsp). Basically egg whites and cottage cheese. Incredible. Better for me than eating protein powder. YOU CAN EAT PANCAKES! Whole eggs and meats + veggies + fats come in later meals.

Stop eating like a child. Stop eating pancakes for breakfast or ordering Panda Express for lunch. Stop it with stress snacking between meals. Eat meats, veggies, fruits, single ingredient whole foods. Control the foods you put in your mouth. Eat like a damn adult.

I had a grand vision over the weekend that I would start Monday with a post about how I'm feeling gratitude, peace, and excitement. Those feelings are still there. But if I’m being honest, the sting of hurt started to slip in yesterday. I built a reputation at Block for being proactive and going above and beyond my role. I was also “The DJ” — mostly playing for free because I genuinely loved contributing to the culture. To have 10 years of that end in an instant is a hard pill to swallow. So to anyone else feeling that hurt--I see you! At the same time, this can be a gift, if I choose to see it that way. It may end up being the best thing to happen to me since I first got the job at Square. I now have the opportunity to go all in on myself for the next ~6 months and see what I can build. With that, I close my chapter at @blocks with gratitude, peace, mostly excitement, and a small sting of hurt. So what's next? 1. Launching djexpensetracker.com -- a tool to help DJs quickly categorize their business expenses for tax time. 2. A new DJ stream: FUNemployed. Come crack a beer, coffee, or that last La Croix you took from the office while you apply for jobs-or not-and listen to good music. Friday at 1pm PT twitch.tv/jamieselects 3. Go all in on learning AI. There's going to be a massive opportunity for AI/automation implementation consulting. Time to become an expert here. I also want to share my perspective on AI in the TPM space. 4. Learn social media. I've never been good at it and it's a little nerve racking to put yourself out there. But no better time than now!
