As per DGCA rules, if a flight is delayed by more than 2 hours, the airline is supposed to provide snacks, water, and tea. If the delay goes beyond 3 hours, they are required to provide meals. Recently, a SpiceJet flight was delayed by over 2 hours, but they kept making excuses to avoid providing refreshments. Passenger: Your SpiceJet flight has been delayed by more than 2 hours. Will you not provide us with refreshments? Staff: Earlier, the delay was not more than 2 hours, so we didn’t provide anything. Passenger: But now it’s been more than 2 hours, right? Staff: Yes. Passenger: So will you provide refreshments now or not? Please clearly say yes or no. Staff: We don’t have refreshments available right now. We would have to bring them from market. Passenger: There are refreshments available inside the airport, please arrange them from there. Staff: We would have to bring them from market.
