Hey everyone I've got a bit of an announcement to make. Today, Friday 7/17, will be my last day at Bungie and I'll be passing the torch of Game Director to the very capable and amazing hands of Del Chafe III, who will guide the game forward alongside the Creative Director Julia Nardin. Both of them have been operating in a strong leadership capacity for the team and are ready to guide Marathon into the next chapter with an even better and brighter future. I'm proud of them and I'm excited to see them helm the future of this crazy little world we've created together. As for me, I'll be heading to something new, somewhere else, and will update you on where and what soon. I just want to say a deeply heartfelt thank you to all of you for supporting me and Marathon in our windy mission to bring a dark and terrifying space survival frontier to your screen. The mission will continue in new and surprising ways so stay tuned for what this team has in store for you! It's been a pleasure seeing all the stories you've created, all the clever ways you've found ways to murder robots and one another. Hopefully as I move onto new things, you'll join me for those adventures as well. Much love to the Marathon community and to all my friends and colleagues at Bungie. May we cross paths again. Marathon Update 1.1.0.5 Fixed an issue where selecting Solo Queue could fail to update your matchmaking state, which could leave you locked into another queue or in a crew-based queue unexpectedly.

We've identified the root cause of the issue that can cause Solo Queue to not be selectable and actively working on a fix. We expect this fix to require some downtime to do an update to the game client and will let you know the details of the timing as soon as we can.

We're aware of an issue with the new Triage Astrophage shell style's face is appearing far brighter than intended on Night Marsh. We’re working on a fix now and plan to have it out in the near future. We’ll share more when we can. But in the meantime, don't go staring directly into the sun. (Or Triage's face.)

We've seen your questions on whether defeating the Compiler in Vault Breaker grants the S'Phticide shell style, and wanted to clarify that it does not. We want to reserve that reward for those who manage to make it to Vault 7 and take down the Compiler while under the threat of other Runners. However, Vault Breaker will have its own set of Codex challenges that awards cosmetics, including a weapon style, charm, profile background, and an emblem.

We have identified some issues affecting the progression systems and loot economy and will be rolling out a few fixes: Cert containers: Fixing an issue causing more Cert containers to spawn than intended in Night Marsh. Cradle: Given the increased quality and quantity of loot, we've increased progression costs by 25%. We are also still tracking down more issues and will be adjusting loot drops globally while we investigate. We want loot to feel rewarding, but also not flood the economy with too many powerful items early in the season. We'll continue to monitor these systems and feedback closely throughout the season.

@MarathonDevTeam Removing solo queue from sponsored survival removed any reason for me to play. Will be uninstalling. Good job dropping the ball cunts

We are aware of the issue causing the zone selection to reset after each run and currently working on a fix for this in a future update. For now, it's best to confirm your desired queue after each run. Pardon our dust.
