Today, Hon. @adriandix , Minister of Energy and Climate Solutions, Charlotte Mitha, our President and CEO, and @G_Anderson1, MLA for Nanaimo-Lantzville, announced that we’re advancing clean energy with four new wind projects in northern B.C. and the southern Interior. Selected through the 2025 call for power, these projects will support jobs, investment, long-term growth across province, and deliver enough clean electricity to power 350,000 homes. As B.C. updates our Hydrogen Strategy, I’m meeting with leaders across the province. B.C. has the clean power, talent, and innovation to lead in #hydrogen. Great to visit @UBC’s Smart Hydrogen Energy District, where solar and hydro help produce hydrogen through electrolysis.

Excuse me, "weak"? Why—because they occasionally disagree with you on something? Look, I get that you wanna twist their independent status into some bizarre partisan attack, but you underestimate these two women at your own peril.
Harman Bhangu@HarmanBhanguBC

🚨BREAKING🚨 Elenore Sturko and Amelia Boultbee have officially been called up to the BC NDP FARM TEAM. At this point, David Eby doesn’t even need to recruit candidates anymore. He just waits for weak independent politicians to audition themselves.

@wyatt_claypool Men’s mental health is too serious for personal attacks. Margaret Thatcher had it right: personal attacks usually mean the argument has been lost. If you disagree with MLA Arora, debate the issue. Demeaning my colleague helps no man, family, or community facing these challenges

In the entire BC Legislature only MLA Rohini Aurora is enough of a Woke Scold to twist a conversation about men's mental health into an excuse to invoked "toxic masculinity" and "the patriarchy." Get this woman a hobby ASAP!

Violent crime is going down in communities across B.C. — and that’s not by chance. Focused, coordinated work between police, prosecutors, and supervision teams is helping to manage repeat violent offenders and reduce harm. Targeted enforcement and intensive case management are making a real difference on the ground. But we know there’s more to do. That’s why we’re expanding this approach to tackle property crime and street disorder — with targeted enforcement for prolific offenders and new integrated teams to better coordinate supports, accountability, and supervision. We will keep doing the work — making sure communities like Nanaimo have the support they need to feel safer.

I am very pleased to announce that, on my recommendation, His Majesty has approved the appointment of the Honourable Louise Arbour as the 31st Governor General of Canada. Across more than five decades, she gave voice to those whose dignity was denied, held institutions to account, and changed lives through her service. As Canada’s next Governor General, Louise Arbour will represent the best of Canada to our citizens and to the world — a Canada clear-eyed about the challenges we face, and steadfast in the values we uphold.

#Nanaimo Infusion 2026 said something powerful about BC. I met nurses from Texas, Michigan, and California who are choosing to come here not just for work, but for peace of mind and belonging. Thank you to Tod & Jocelyn Maffin for bringing this vision to life #Nanaimo #BCpoli

BC went from having some of the highest auto insurance rates in Canada to some of the lowest. Keeping insurance rates stable is one of the ways we're working to help people manage their day-to-day budgets.

No one should ever be allowed to stand in the BC Legislature to use Nazi rhetoric to argue a point. This a line that should never be crossed. Every party should immediately denounce this abhorrent comment.

Comparisons to "blood and soil" are inappropriate and minimize the memories of victims and lived experiences of survivors of the Holocaust and Nazi ideology. While lively debate is expected, @TaraArmstrongBC clearly crossed a line and must retract her comments immediately.

Great to be at the opening of the E&N Trail extension from Columbia to Seventh this Earth Day. Neighbours showed up, put in the work, and left something better behind. That’s how strong communities are built, one project, one connection at a time #Nanaimo #Lantzville #EarthDay
