@Miss_LA_English I’m in my 5th. I changed schools after 2 years which made the world of difference. Supportive SLT and decent workload definitely help. I’m usually in school 7.30-4.30 and get everything done in that time. Take very little home!

I’ve been thinking recently how I don’t see myself being able to survive teaching for many more years, I hate to think it as I’m not a quitter so I’d like some advice: if you’ve been a teacher for 5 + years, how have you done it?

Teaching is a job. An incredibly important job; but still a job. It is not some higher calling that means we have a duty to sacrifice ourselves for students. We can be highly effective teachers without breaking ourselves.

Child has school based avoidance, anxiety and depression. Often arrives to sch late bc parent has spent so long getting him to school - giving an immediate 30 min detention for being late is not the way forward #Education #School #SchoolsUK #EduTwitter #DoBetter
