@nextlevelbb Exactly. People always say baseball isnt a revenue generating sport. When there were 35 guys on the roster, only 11.7 scholarships means 23.3 guys are paying full tuition. Because of baseball, the school gets 23+ additional payments.

@JohnHas37381011 @spencerjw No, they don't. Once you pay for the items and have a receipt, those are your items, not the stores. Stopping for a receipt checker is pure courtesy of the shopper. Its no different than going to the register and requesting to count the till because your money is in there.

@nextlevelbb Ive got something that can also work. If a coach leaves a team for another school, the new school has to take the average of the coaches contract(SB & yearly salary divided by years) and split it equally among the kids he left on the roster.

Transfer Portal is Trending Doesn't open for another week, but kids can't wait to "Thank" the school they're leaving and announce they will be in it. LOL, some are even saying after the bowl game they'll be in the portal. Two things need to happen to fix this. 1. Kids have to sit out a year if they transfer. "UNLESS" the departing players coach signs a release. 2. The school they're leaving loses a scholarship for a year. "UNLESS" the kid is transferring to a school where his family lives. What are your suggestions?

@nextlevelbb I agree 100%. Valdosta state's roster has always included black kids. If we consider the four Valdosta state players hair as short, then the kid that was dismissed for long hair is in the same boat. Supposedly the school is looking into it, so well see what they come up with.

@GaBlkBaseball The recruiting coordinator at VSU has done a WONDERFUL job recruiting minorities. The black kid in the pic along with the white kids all have what I would consider short hair for college kids.

@nextlevelbb I agree. You & I would be fine with it. The coach in this situation is wrong. I.e., there are tons of great cops, but if they dont call out bad cops that makes all cops look bad. Heres an opportunity to say you know what, the facts(not feelings) say coach was wrong, reprimand him

@nextlevelbb So all said and done, the kid who was dismissed has about the same length hair as the four other players. Of the four players pictured, only one of them was halfway worth a damn performance-wise and they are all allowed to be on the team with that hair. Its discriminatory

@nextlevelbb The black kid in the pic is not the kid that was dismissed, hes a player with not close cut hair. Crazy thing is out of the 4 kids pictured he actually contributes: 52 starts, .278, 4 bombs, 22/25 sb, 4 2b, 2 3b, and only 26ks in 209 at bats.

@nextlevelbb well lets take a look at their performance: #44 9.31 era, 1.55 whip, 0-1, 9.2 innings pitched #40 .095 batting average, 13 games played #17 .000 batting average 3 sb, 21 games played, So can we both agree that its not performance now, right? Any other ideas what it might be?

@GaBlkBaseball My comment about Tim Anderson was...he probably is treated differently than the 25th man on the roster. Trout and Ohtani probably get treated differently than the 25th man on the Angels roster. Color has NOTHING to do with any of it...PERFORMANCE does.
