Further proof of the level of 🤡the league esports industry is, especially for tier 2 leagues in EU. Any team he would play in he's likely gonna be one of the best/most hardworking players, yet ppl cba putting any effort into actually reviewing players before giving them tryouts.

@drewlevin Correction, this account wasnt the duo with Raider it was with another player that was high elo in KR and came to EU for studies but again i don't see the reason for me to get a full pullback to silver

@drewlevin @XeoVAL Not only do pro players get a fresh mmr account when they bootcamp in a different region which results in them having to play a huge amount of games before they reach their real elo, but they are also forced to play 10 normal games before being able to queue ranked on those accs.

I dislike how disrespectful smurfing is of the enemy team’s time. if I queue in ranked, I expect i’m 50% to win at baseline. if someone in my lobby is secretly chall, I definitely don’t have 50% to win. If I knew that beforehand I would not have queued for the game.

I’m not a fan of Unranked to Challenger climbs personally but I definitely disagree that it can’t be educational if the streamer is making that the intention. Having them explain their thought process and decision making in lower elos is really helpful. If they’re just perma going for outplays and solo killing worse laners for fun that’s different
