NGL, these 7 years since my first child was born (9 days before my last paper was accepted!) have been mentally and emotionally challenging. The idea of escaping the ivory tower crossed my mind more than a few times. But I'm glad I persevered and am a better person for it.😣➡️😁

My academic output the last few years has been rather lacking. Fatherhood, unfortunate circumstances, COVID, and (of course) the usual 'publishing is clumpy' excuse (AKA bad luck). I'm happy to say that I'm finally emerging from the other side of the tunnel, hopefully for good.👇
