The way Capcom seems to be handling Resident Evil protagonists is actually pretty interesting. For the past few years, the spotlight has clearly been on Leon with the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4, and then mainline story, Resident Evil Requiem. Now with Resident Evil Requiem, Leon is going to step back a bit, maybe retire or just rest for a long time. The next stretch of games is very much with Chris, Jill, Claire with remakes of Resident Evil Code: Veronica, Resident Evil Zero, and Resident Evil 1, followed by a Resident Evil 5 remake. And after all that, Resident Evil 10 could very well continue Chris’ storyline, according to Post Credit Scene in Requiem We’ve seen a lot of Leon over the past few, but the next focus will probably be on Chris, Claire and Jill. What you guys think? 🤔
