Honestly Venom is a better hero than Spider-Man, Peter even acknowledges that symbiote saga was his fault during the Knull saga.

During the Knull arc, Peter realizes he's been a loser who hasn't really gone anywhere while Eddie has reformed and has earned the heart of a true hero. He even acknowledges that the symbiote's corruption was partially his fault

@Saulman11835779 Remove the head and Hardy's Venom could be pretty much anything, which is not great visual design. Even if they couldn't or didn't want to use the spider symbol, they should've thought of something better than the white veins.

@_TheSmartAlec1 Black Suit Saga was the most logical choice, was set-up in the post-credits of NWH and both Tom Holland and Tom Hardy spoke about a desire for Venom & Spider-man to meet. We had the set-up and they choose to just do a reference to The Fly instead which is all Man-Spider is.

Genuinely why are people so against the idea of Man-Spider being in Brand New Day? Like I’m genuinely confused, what about it is so bad that it can’t be a thing that happens here and gets resolved by the end?

@SchwayJohn I personally don’t think this storyline will go well in live action because: - Tom Holland’s version of Spider-Man is the longest running live action. No other renditions even hint at mutations. Plus he’s past puberty. - We don’t even see him bit by the Spider.
