@GabeVertrees Sometimes, stepping back from one path lets you fully invest in another that aligns with your true passion
English

@ItsMeBenChan This is quite literally where I'm at.
I pretty much quit X but I've gone all in on training for the Olympics & focusing on my job.
You've hit the mark Ben
English

I just unfollowed 100000 people.
They're all losers who quit X.
At least, that’s what I used to think.
But now,
I realize those people might have made the right choice.
I started on X over 10 months ago.
And soon after, I found 3 like-minded friends.
We all had the same huge dreams.
➼ hit $10,000/mo
➼ retire our parents
➼ be the next Dan Koe
We were going to become X legends.
But then, over time, as life got more complicated,
They posted less.
And less.
And less.
Soon enough…
…they stopped posting altogether.
In everyone else’s eyes, they quit.
Gave up on their dreams.
Doomed themselves to a 9-5 and an unfulfilled life.
But that wasn’t the case.
Even though they quit X,
We were all still grinding together.
Day after day.
Week after week.
Month after month.
Recently, we hopped on a call to catch up.
Where were these guys at?
No, they didn’t quit and fall into degeneracy.
In fact, they did the complete opposite.
One of us built his own house.
One of us is launching his own community.
One of us has a Youtube channel with 50k+ subs.
Sure, they quit X,
But they never quit working hard.
And now, we’ve all had various degrees of success.
“Quitters” likely aren’t actually quitters.
They’ve just shifted their focus.

For the first time in my life I love doing something.
Rock climbing.
I want to do rock climbing when:
- I wake up
- During the way
- Even on rest days
It's sometimes the only thing I can think about.
Then I realized for X & business it's different.
I'm not excited to write
It's not the first thing on my mind
And frankly, I'd rather spend time on something else.
The only problem is I know entrepreneurship well
I know I can't quit
I know too much
I'm going to be changing things soon.
But im wondering, does anyone else feel like this?
English

@Danidjunara They're very good if u struggle with task switching. Especially if u set the rule "I can only switch tasks if my alarm goes off."
English

@GabeVertrees That's interesting. I never personally use alarm for productivity
English

I've created my own productivity hack.
And it's made creating new habits easy.
What is it?
You have it in your pocket
And you wake up to it everyday
It's an alarm.
I've been trying to create lots of new habits lately
None of the gurus advice about:
- Scheduling
- Make it obvious
- Insert guru tip
Has worked for me
But having the alarm at a specific time
Is like having a personal call to action
Give it a go for a new habit you want to do
You'd be surprised on how much it works.
