My little girl and I watched the new Melania movie today. While watching, my daughter fixed her posture and started sitting up straight. She commented on Melania’s outfits, and after we finished, she went to put on her dress and nice shoes. I realized the messaging we send to children matters. The influence we have over them is far greater than we think. We need to normalize young ladies acting like young ladies again, and little boys acting like gentlemen.
