Was casually thinking about the bunker busting problem, and realized phased arrays offer an alternative approach to deep subsurface targets. Classic bunker busters have large munitions penetrate to a depth that ensures all explosive energy is coupled to the ground. The deepest bunkers need the biggest bombs. So, a target just needs to go deeper until it requires a nuclear warhead. So maybe there's a solution using a distributed 'phased array' approach, using a spread of smaller munitions that penetrate to fully coupled depth. Then they would pause, perform a seismic survey with distributed sensors identify the exact target location, and geology, then compute a collaborative detonation sequence that would focus the pressure waves at this point. Essentially a phased array munition, one where multiple aircraft can deliver parts that will all eventually work together. Ok you have to figure out how to deliver something that's robust and smart enough to survive and work together, but this doesn't seem like the dumbest Idea I've had....

I finally understand how #Verse concurrency works and suddenly the language architecture makes more sense. Here's a function validating round win condition. - `block` defines a condition - `Await()` waits for a signal from gameplay - `race` runs these conditions in parallel...

@wasatch_wind @DJSnM According to rumors, Switch 2 controllers have optical sensor allowing us to use them as mouse. This opens new possibilities for game developers and, if it's true, we will see a bunch of new strategy games on Switch.

@DJSnM I don't know why so many people insist on making strategy and simulation games come to consoles. Like... why? Why would you even want to do that? The control scheme sounds awful. Who is playing stuff like kerbal space program and flight simulator with a controller?
