@GainsGinger The problem with society today is not workers fighting to preserve their terms and conditions.
It’s thinking that we won’t all lose our terms and conditions if we don’t fight.
London tube drivers who joined the strike today, you are the problem with today’s society.
I would understand if you as a person could not change employment and therefore would need to strike for change. However, this is not the case for most of you.
The demographic is mostly young to middle age and can Easily change career if they desire and reduce their working week.
Honestly, it’s like we live in la la land.
I don’t know why our government has not addressed this matter directly and stated this, surely this is common sense?
This job will be among the first to go to AI and you drivers have no one to thank but yourselves.
Jokers 🫵🏻🤣
@GainsGinger You're the problem with today's society, RMT lose, we all lose. Question: you ever been a member of a Trade Union or worked in a unionised environment?
@GainsGinger Ah, do we have someone who has never had to work for a living?
Certainly someone who has no concept of the word "solidarity".
Let's say they all change jobs: what happens next?
Will others rush to take jobs with poor conditions?
Or will you be whining about no trains?
From an outside perspective, It seems that the drivers conditions are more than comfortable compared to other industries.
The way you are fighting is damaging your message and eventually I believe will make things worse for the workers as popularity diminishes.
I agree that we need to stand up for workers terms. However, there are better ways to go about it.
@buzoskyx1 You have the right mindset by accepting the loss and moving forward. You can always earn that money back.
DCA is a safer approach in my opinion, as it eliminates timing the market.
Just be cautious with which asset you choose to do it with.
@GainsGinger You caught me there 😂. The drawdown didn’t happen by accident.
I’ve learned a few expensive lessons since then though. That’s why I’m leaning toward a DCA mindset now just missing the capital part of the strategy 😅🙏
@chg3899 Spoken like someone on strike.
The implementation of driverless trains requires multiple hurdles to be jumped.
One of them being the train drivers who’s don’t want to work anyway.
@buzoskyx1 I agree, who cares what short term price is if you have a long term plan.
However, didn’t this way of thinking get you into drawdown?
I personally, am a big advocate for DCA approach.
@GainsGinger I'd buy now. Opportunities don't wait for limit orders 😅. Besides, if you're offering the $50, I can't exactly leave capital sitting on the sidelines. I'd really appreciate u sir
@DW201_ I do agree that he has used this in a way to gain traction, but the message in the post still holds.
You’re gonna hate this, but I still think Trump has done well for America.
It’s hard to find a politician or leader who you can agree with 100% of their policies.
@DW201_ Are you implying that the message in the retweeted post is automatically bad due to the person who spoke it?
This way of thinking won’t serve you well.
