People diss M&S as a middle class snob shop. M&S have a range of everyday basic products that are cheap and high quality. Their small wholemeal bread is 65p. It's outstanding. Butter is good value and so are their baked beans. About 1/3 of the price of Heinz.

A reminder that the speed of dial-up internet was 56Kkbps, not the hundreds of Mbps of today's broadband. My broadband connection is roughly 6,900 times faster than a 56K modem in raw download speed.
