Turns out I was right. This picture is from the last day of the Mystic Fountain at the Lost Continent Islands of Adventure. Will it ever return? Hope springs eternal 😉

I had what might be my last conversation ever with the mystic fountain at Islands of adventure. I saw upwards of 10 Universal management / executives around the fountain. Made me wonder if today might be the final day.

Heavy equipment can be heard again today working hard at the demolition of the interior of the Sindbad theater at Islands of Adventure. It is easily heard from the Hogwarts Express line.

A quick and dirty measurement of the remaining Lost Continent area while preserving the First Aid/Health Services building and Mythos just so happens to be 4.9 acres. 🤔

Recently filed demolition permit for Universal Project 555. Nearly a 5 acre project calling for the demolition of retail, show and attraction buildings. Could this be for the replacement of Lost Continent/Sinbad/Poseidon?

@TharinWhite While it feels like Universal orlando has taken its foot off the gas a little and without going into details, there is a lot in the pipeline, and the resort will feel very different in 5 years. I think it's safe to say we've entered a new golden age in Orlando theme parks.
