@Galidrum Alternate fucking reality. People who tell themselves stories can't handle it when those stories start to crack. That's a lot of people in this community.

The sheer levels of cope I see in Star Citizen genuinely blow my mind…. We stole a guys Idris (by walking onto it because he left the door open) and we knew who’s Idris this was because we were about to fight their group, so as a way to get a leg up on the fight since they outnumbered us and outgunned us, we put our guy on the Idris to disable it for free and either blow it up or steal it. The group we stole it from the guy running the show proceeds to cope for about an hour that we did not steal one of his crews ships (we have photo evidence of the pilot of that ship in a discord voice chat with all these guys) He then says that he isn’t an actual org member so it doesn’t count even though they are clearly all partied, in comms together, coordinating together, and IN THE SAME VOICE CHAT IN THEIR DISCORD… but yeah, we didn’t steal their Idris, it was a totally random one 🤣🤣🤣 Later on that evening after the battle raged on, we stole/killed 3 of their cap ships, lost none of ours mopped up their fighters multiple times, A member of ours won a 1v5 FPS fight after they boarded the Idris we had stolen and repelled all the boarders single handedly with a parallax and boom tube in like 30 seconds It was GG’s in the chat, we then got called griefernet wannabe’s and they refused to say GG/GF back for a long time until finally we got them to say GG They also were saying our skills were as good as our events perform…. Soooooooooo…. Not sure where that leaves them?

Had a lot of fun in the 4.7 PTU last night doing the new Rock Breaker contract. We found a new Gemini S-71 in green camo last night along with some new armor. This is going to be pretty cool for the tactical people out there when this patch drops to the LIVE environment. I lost my face, I know I look great....... @RobertsSpaceInd #StarCitizen

@Galidrum Too true - the absence of meaningful, conclusive victory conditions and competitive integrity in the metrics means everyone sets their own bar.

The star citizen PvP space is literally just straight drama and clip farming…. That’s why we need reasons to PvP because otherwise it devolves into drama that frankly few people care about except the people immediately affected by the drama and clip farming. Had a GN member come into my discord today sharing contextless screenshots of drama between two groups that I had no involvement with in any way shape or form…. And it was shared for what purpose? To drama farm and rustle the crowd. Please give us a reason to pvp so we can fight and have a reason for fighting other than clip farming whoever we are fighting.

@HeyItsBWags Life support already wasn't worth it. Now there's just even more scarcity for power without any true benefits.

My group is building Wikelo Idris #5 (after two Polarises) right now. Thankfully haven't run into this, and most of us know workarounds to recover from it. The pucker was real every time though, because we know full well how unreliable this half-assed elevator/inventory feature set and the database behind it is. It's NOT acceptable for any process costing the player time and resources to be this iffy.

@itsdtox Make sure some of the stuff isn't just "stuck" on the elevator. Sometimes it appears to eat things, but those items actually still exist and have to be brought down/up numerous times. Not that you should have to know or do any of that - system is total shit.

WOWWWW, we hit some insane numbers for "Operation Dead Mans Switch"! so far we have counted at least 300ish people which is an insane community accomplishment for everyone involved! It's the same for mechanical engineering. If you want to build a locomotive, don't sweat the metallurgy and the thermodynamics, just prompt, baby... prompt! If you're a fast learner, or a good gamer, or grew up near train tracks, that's ALL you need. In fact, not knowing that locomotives use wheels could be an advantage. You're just a boiler explosion away from revealing your "true grit", which is the measure that software engineers have traditionally rated each other with.
