Edgcote Gallops

Due to planned maintenance and resurfacing works on the HILL gallop this will closed from the 25th June to the 5th July. The round gallop will remain open throughout. We will keep you posted with photos of the works.

The round gallop will be shut from this Monday till Wednesday for maintenance. The hill gallop will remain open.

From today until the May the 15th Edgcote road will be closed at Trafford bridge. So access to the gallops will have to come via the A361 at Wardington and the ‘’Hare & Hounds’ turning (will post if road opens sooner).

Tomorrow 14th August the gallops are full from 1200hr - 1600hr.

The hill gallop will be open from 11:30 tomorrow onwards, following the resurfacing and drainage works that have now been completed. We look forward to seeing you back.

Works should take 2 - 3 weeks, but will keep you posted with updates and photos. These works have been delayed due to Covid lockdown and we hope have the gallops open as soon as possible.

From Tuesday the 26th the Hill gallop will be closed for resurfacing and drainage repair. The Oval track will remain open as normal. The new surface will be Andrew Bowen safetrack the same as the new oval.

It is with sadness that this season we will not be hosting the three planed Point 2 Points due to Covid-19 The gallops will stay open for the foreseeable future, we will carry on monitoring the government announcements and follow there recommendations.

Huge congratulations to @Imogen_Murray on finishing 6th at @LRBHT_Official event yesterday.

Next week we will be installing a new water main that will run up the side of the hill gallop, this will not effect the round gallops and the hill will be open, it expect to see heavy machinery in operation around the hill. Sorry for any inconvenience.
